As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines
Abstract submission. All authors wishing to participate in SAADC2023 must submit an abstract (200-250 words) of their work by May 1, 2023. All accepted abstracts will be published in the digital conference proceedings (available at time of conference). Please click here for instructions to prepare and submit Abstracts.
Publication of papers. For authors wishing to publish the work summarized in their abstracts as papers, manuscripts must be received by June 1, 2023. There are two publication pathways:
Publication of Short Papers (4-5 pages) in a special issue of the Journal of Agricultural Science Technology and Development (JASTD). These manuscripts will be reviewed by the SAADC Scientific committee in consultation with the authors before submission to the journal. The editor of JASTD will decide on the final acceptance/publication of your paper after the normal peer-review process of the journal.
Long Papers (3,000 - 5,000 words) can be in the form of research or review papers and will be published in a special issue of the SCI Indexed Animal Production Science (APS). These manuscripts will be reviewed by the SAADC in-house editors1 in consultation with the authors before submission to the journal. The editor of APS will decide on the final acceptance/publication of your paper after the normal peer-review process of the journal.
